UPDATE 21ott08: Klaxon v2.0.023

Con l’arrivo dell’HTC Touch Diamond, e dell’implementazione del sensore di accelerazione G-Sensor presente nel device, è un fiorire di nuove applicazioni che ne sfruttano questa tecnologia.

Una delle ultime applicazioni distribuita in forma gratuita si chiama Klaxon, sveglia di ultima generazione sensibile al movimento e alla luce!

Il programma, utilizzabile per il momento soltanto dai possessori del “Diamante” di High Tech Computer e del Touch Pro (chissà che non sia compatibile anche il prossimo Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia), permette di gestire la sveglia di Windows Mobile.

Come? Con un una semplice rotazione del terminale gli allarmi vengono posticipati, con movimenti rapidi e ripetuti (”shake the PDA”) le ricorrenze ed i relativi avvisi vengono disattivati.

Tra le opzioni possibili  c’è anche l’implementazione di un altro ingegnoso sistema: la sospensione della sveglia laddove in una stanza buia venga accesa la luce (supponendo che il “dormiente” si sia già svegliato e si accinga a fare colazione). [via solopalmari]

New Features, Update and Fixes:

• If you have a 480×640+ screen, you will see the new UI. It’s pretty. Still have to skin the alarm form, but besides that, it is done.
• Possibly fixed bug where Klaxon would stay resident in memory.
• The number controls are now gesture based: you can flick them and they will scroll through their range quite rapidly!
• You can now preview the alarm using the play button. (Only available in the new UI)
• Implemented new skin for the actual Alarm form
• Possibly fixed bug where WAV files were not looping.
• Fixed bug where editing alarms that took place on the noon or midnight hours were bugged
• Implemented 24 hour mode (on the new UI only)
• Vibrations are now 150 and 300 ms instead of 500ms
• Windows Alarms are now schedule with no sound, so all the user may see is a notification (if Home Screen integration is enabled)
• Fixed bug where One Time alarms did not show up on the Home Screen
